Assistant Project Manager

Enschede is the company’s plastics production hub, developing and creating key components for complex subsea pipeline infrastructure installed by our state-of-the-art vessels. Whether flowline VIV Suppression Strakes for free span mitigation, protection shells for piggy-backed pipe or polypropylene sheets for field joint coating, the products are designed and manufactured by our Enschede team.

We are looking for an efficient and accurate Assistant Project Manager to join our Manufacturing Department in Enschede. The successful candidate will take responsibility for all (QC) document control, organisational and administrative duties related to a specific project, and serve as the first line of contact for all related project enquiries, both internal and external. Additionally, you have affinity with technical content and hands-on working in a production location.

Your role

This role would suit a confident individual with excellent administrative skills, who thrives in providing first-class organisational support in a document control/project- and production management environment.

As Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for preparing (QC) procedures and documents at the beginning of each project and keep production files up to date during the project. You are first point of contact for with the internal client and/or external client. You will perform all administrative tasks as laid down in the department, team or work procedures. You will be reporting to the Manager Manufacturing/Site Manager.

Besides this, your tasks will include:

  • Initiate purchase requisitions in SAP and request new items or suppliers when required
  • Coordinating goods receipt, including booking and archiving of material certificates;
  • Organizing transport, preparing packing lists and creating CMR documents;
  • Managing goods inventory, including pallet numbering and labelling;
  • Coordinating raw material receipts with suppliers and the external warehouse;
  • Uploading and managing project documents in CADAC for internal and external review processes;
  • Preparing and handling QC paperwork for production in collaboration with Project Management;
  • Compiling and archiving manufacturing data books (As-Built), including document registers.
  • Support during ISO Audits and related QC document- and procedure reviews.

What we expect from you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Minimal HBO level or an equivalent;
  • Technical background is a nice to have;
  • Minimal 2 year of relevant experience with Document Controlling, QC or Internal Project Support within an international organization is also nice to have;
  • Graduates are encouraged to respond as well;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint; Experience with SAP is welcomed;
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, basic command of the Dutch language.
