Job Description

As Junior FP&A Analyst, you will support the financial reporting and projection process, delivering the necessary insights to the senior management on the performance of the divisions supported in the Europe area.

What you will do:

  • Act as a business controller for the divisions supported, in terms of Actuals, Forecast, Budget, Strategic Plan. Be a Strategic Business Partner
  • Assist with recurring activities such as sales reporting, risk and opportunities
  • Undertake adhoc analysis and projects as required by the business to support key decisions (such as inventory management, profitability analysis, commissions, bonus, etc)
  • Generate eye-opener analytics/findings to influence business management
  • Support the division Finance leaders in the integration of acquisitions (systems, processes, data accuracy, reporting, coordination of the transition)
  • Build effective relationships with Stryker Finance, Divisional Finance, Regional Marketing, Sales leadership and country teams.
  • Provide executional support to the analyst team for Projection and Budget cycles loading divisional forecasts and supporting the weekly SPR process.
  • Directly participate in the accounting cycle and the preparation of financial documents/statements.
  • Prepare operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the progress to financial goals and objectives. Analyse variances between actual and expected financial results.

Required:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related subject
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Any other European language is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects that will significantly impact the business up-to and including working with senior leadership on major company projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work across levels within the organization
  • Good influencing skills

Desired:

  • Strong visualization & reporting experience: MS Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint & Excel
  • HFM Experience is a plus
