The Challenge

For our plant in Zaandam we are looking for a Maintenance manager. Do you and your team create a factory that runs like clockwork? We offer you the opportunity to join our team and contribute to our mission to bring ‘Happiness with every bite’.

The position entails

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all maintenance activities within our organization. You report to the factory director.

Your main responsibilities

Maintenance:

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment.
• Drive equipment reliability through implementing maintenance foundations, such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

Team Coordination:

• Managing and supervising the maintenance team (28 FTE), including organizing training and promoting a safe and productive work environment.

Cost Management:

• Improve maintenance cost structure by improving technical skill sets and optimizing 3rd party spend.
• Detailed cost management plan for all aspects of engineering including YoY improvements.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Maintain detailed maintenance reports and analyze data to identify improvements.

Industrial Services/Sustainability:

• Deliver constant energy requirements to the plant by ensuring first-class reliability equipment.
• Drive and execute plant sustainability objectives in line with market targets.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments to align maintenance strategies with broader business objectives and achieve continuous improvements.

Electrical & Automation:

• Drive reliability in all electrical components in the factory.
• Develop and drive automation plan for the factory.
• Ensure full compliance with pladis standards including calibration.

Management and Strategy:

• Set the technical strategic vision for the factory, leveraging other functional leaders and cascade objectives to all leaders in the engineering department, within factory targets.
• Conduct a training and skills for your department.

What do you bring?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budget management and cost optimization.
• Knowledge/experience with maintenance practices such as RCM or TPM.
• Professional English is required.
