About the Asset & Reliability Engineering Team

As Reliability Engineer you will be part of the Asset & Reliability Engineering team which is part of the Maintenance department. Working in this department means being part of a fast-changing environment, where you are able to have large impact on various decision-making processes. The team is responsible for keeping all Ampelmann systems available and ready to use, as well as managing costs and performance overviews. The team currently consists of a Reliability Engineer, three Asset Engineers and the Team Lead Asset & Reliability Engineering.

Your role as Reliability Engineer
As a Reliability Engineer at Ampelmann, you will focus on three key areas: enhancing and automating the maintenance program, leading Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and driving improvements, and ensuring that new innovations are designed for reliability, maintainability, and safety. To accomplish this, you will collaborate daily across departments with experts from various engineering fields, including Asset-, Improvement-, Maintenance-, Data-, and Field Control Engineering. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing Ampelmann’s shift toward a more data-driven maintenance approach. In this role you will report to the Team Lead Asset & Reliability Engineering.

Regular activities

  • Analyzing failure data and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and address system issues.
  • Improving and developing preventive maintenance programs to optimize system reliability.
  • Enhancing and expanding the Field Service Module within 365 to improve operational efficiency.
  • Designing new systems for reliability and maintainability by collaborating in engineering teams.
  • Leading the establishment of standard procedures for maintenance and failure data analysis and facilitating risk assessments (e.g. FMEA) to prioritize reliability improvements.

We ask

  • BSc/MSc degree (Mechanical Engineering, Maritime-, Automotive-, Electrical Engineering or similar) and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with data driven maintenance
  • The ability to translate data into actionable maintenance practices and vice versa
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills and a strong drive to improve
  • A proactive mindset, confident in gathering stakeholders and gaining support for your ideas across the company
