Your Responsibilities

Your daily activities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Compliance Leadership: Further develop, professionalize, and align the existing Ethics & Compliance framework for the Heerema Group, ensuring it stays relevant and effective.
  • Policy Development: Draft and maintain compliance policies, including the Code of Conduct, ABAC guidelines, and trade sanctions protocols.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic and tactical advisor to the business, providing proactive support during tendering processes and key decision-making moments.
  • Training & Awareness: Design and deliver engaging compliance training sessions for employees, including specialized programs for Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG)
  • Risk Management: Identify potential compliance risks, perform internal audits, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • KYC & Due Diligence: Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and supply chain due diligence, assessing risks related to human rights, environmental impact, and ethical standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Support the implementation of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) requirements, contributing to policy development and compliance reporting.
  • Incident Management: Manage confidential reporting systems (e.g., speak-up lines), investigate compliance breaches, misconduct, and harassment cases, ensuring impartial handling and appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive compliance reports to the Board and Compliance Committee, offering insights and recommendations.
