What you are going to do

You are going to use technologies and tools such as AWS (Lambda, S3, etc.), TypeScript (Node.js), and GraphQL. Besides directly contributing to the codebase, a big part of your responsibility is to work with your team, help us develop general best practices, and foster a true engineering culture. Your main responsibilities are to:

• Build software with the best possible user experience, while following an API-first approach
• Implement modern best practices for software development, such as automated building, testing, and deployment through CI/CD
• Collaborate closely with your team members by doing pair and mob programming
• Coach juniors to become better software engineers and further develop their strengths
• Talk to other teams and users to explore their needs and produce feasible solutions

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, building TypeScript, React Native, AWS, GraphQL, Node.JS based applications
• Experience building applications using AWS (Cloudformation, Serverless, CDK, Lambda, S3, etc.)
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Azure DevOps
• A passion for automation and implementing recurring tasks, testing, and security
