As a Junior Internal Communications Specialist, you will be part of the Corporate Communications Team. We are a relatively new team that supports the organization in protecting and enhancing Robeco’s reputation among our colleagues and (prospective) clients, as well as within our industry and with society at large. Internally, we aim to connect with all colleagues and keep them proud of and engaged in our mission, vision, and strategic ambitions.

The Junior Internal Communications Specialist will report to the Head of Corporate Communications. Based in Rotterdam, you will work with colleagues at our head office as well as online via our international offices.   

Position & Requirements

What you will do: 

Create and manage content

• Draft and edit informative, engaging and fun content on various topics, via multiple channels such as RobecoWorld (our intranet), narrowcasting, video scripts, mailings and events.
• Share messages in a timely way via our various publication channels.
• Assist with the development and delivery of internal content management strategies. 
• Create visually engaging content, such as selecting and editing pictures for intranet, creating small infographics, editing short videos by using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro.
• Analyze statistics and feedback on RobecoWorld to optimize content management and user experience.

Project management

• Assist in planning and executing internal communications projects and events (varying from monthly drinks and team gatherings to internal townhall meetings and company-wide events).

Stakeholder management

• Build strong relationships with various internal stakeholders (such as HR, IT, Legal, Sales and Marketing) across the company and colleagues worldwide to support the development and execution of internal communication for their projects. 
• Develop ideas to encourage conversation and connection across Robeco. 

What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications (or similar study)
• 0-3 years of experience in a communications-related role
