The Role:

Are you looking for a great in-house Legal Counsel opportunity in an international technology company? We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven individual to provide legal advice and contribute to our global organization. You will instantly be adding value, working closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams on high-value, business critical opportunities. With strong commercial experience and confidence in navigating legal processes you will be able to apply your skills at an international level. Your mission at Irdeto:

Support our organization as a legal business partner to the organization. This will include:

• Serve as a legal advisor for business-critical and high-value contracts, transactions and projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, RfP submissions and legal correspondence.
• Provide project management of legal steps on strategic contracts from identification of legal issues through to contract execution.
• Identify legal risks and propose strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct legal research and montior changes in relevant laws to support decision-making while identifying potential legal risks and opportunities
• Design and deliver legal training programs to educate employees on legal compliance and best practices.
• Partner with our legal operations team to improve systems and legal efficiencies across the business.

How you can add value to the team:

• Ideally you will have a Master’s degree in law with 7-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) practicing law in- house.
• Expertise in commercial contract law, with a strong preference for IT law and licensing, with a proven track record of handling complex, high-value contracts and negotiations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills and ability to provide practical business-oriented legal advice.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and agility.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal professionals.
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Chinese strongly preferred.
