Job Description

About the role

This position will manage the program/item development and order management process and will be the communication HUB between client and internal partners/stakeholders for these activities. Own merchandising activities for mid-level or support Tier 1 designated client items/program development that execute account strategy, sales volume, and profit targets. Will maintain proactive and professional client relationships, and simplify the development and order management communications between the client and key Avery Dennison business partners and stakeholders. Work closely with Sr. Merchandiser to provide best in class Client support.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible or Accountable for end to end process management related to designated Client Development,Order Management and post Order Management activities - depending on client tier

  • Intake Client program specifications/artwork and process requests via approved/standard workflows

  • Partner with Design and Tech Sales to build custom account presentations based on client briefs or to support client growth opportunities

  • Partner with Commercial teams on developing product opportunities to drive key initiatives and achieve sales objectives for assigned accounts

  • Provide insight into client category and branding strategy. Be able to provide the roadmap on where they play

  • Maintain/validate appropriate system data related to designated Clients (ERP, client-specific documents etc…)

  • Provide client with development and order status

  • Receive/Validate/Process client sample and production orders

  • Delegate data entry tasks to merchandise support

  • Coordinate with Logistics and Operations on capacity planning and scheduling for open orders

  • Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives

  • Maintain strong product knowledge - both internal and customer specific

  • Design and constantly improve forms and electronic communication tools

  • Monitor pricing due to inconsistencies

  • Support pricing escalation with Commercial teams

  • Intake/follow up on client QA issues - Process client RMA’s if applicable

  • Maintain in-depth client knowledge

  • Provide structured client on-boarding (both internal and external)

  • Perform ongoing client analysis to identify growth opportunities

  • Provide real-time availability

  • Ability to provide White Glove service to designated clients

  • Conduct physical client visits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Three (3-5) years related experience. Lead experience preferred.

  • Strong written, verbal and telephone skills.

  • Strong understanding of applicable systems, such as Google Suite, local ERP, and e-commerce platform.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Possess leadership, mentoring, training and project management experience and skills.

  • Strong presentation experience and skills.

  • Ability to generate reports.

  • Knowledge of product lines preferred.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • Strong conflict solving skills.

  • Team Player

  • Adapt to client and business requirements.
