We are looking for a motivated Business Application Specialist (BAS) to join our NCC Procurement Team. In this crucial role, you’ll be supporting, implementing, and innovating business applications, with a strong focus on M3and Procurement processes. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, driving efficiency and innovation.

About The Role: Innovating and Supporting Business Applications Globally

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for M3 applications, ensuring smooth operations and quick troubleshooting for issues.
  • Collaborate with other streams to translate business needs into process and functional specifications and deliver effective solutions.
  • Lead the integration of tools like Power BI, leveraging AI and Cloud technologies to enhance processes.
  • Manage small-scale projects, guiding system configurations and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with global teams to implement changes and ensure ongoing support for business applications.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet agreed-upon requirements and maintain active communication to address any functionality concerns.
  • Apply knowledge of systems to determine the feasibility of projects and expand solutions to address additional business systems or needs.
  • Configure and guide the development of various business applications to align with business objectives and best practices.
  • Participate in or lead process initiatives to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Provide guidance, develop, and deliver training to key-users on application functionality and best practices.
  • Build long-term relationships with business partners and collaborate with geographically distributed teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of applications
  • Govern projects within functional areas, investigating requirements, and translating them into process or application projects.

Skills and Expertise

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of Infor. (Lawson) M3 consultancy experience in application support, development, and management roles, preferably from Procurement or SCM area.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, ION workflow and integration tools (a plus).
  • Fluency in English and effectively communicating and networking with business and stakeholders.
  • Soft skills like good communication, proactive, adaptable, with a strong focus on problem-solving, analytical thinking and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel
