About the Company:
OMA is an international architecture and urbanism practice founded in 1975. With offices in Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, and Australia, the practice is led by seven partners: Rem Koolhaas, Reinier de Graaf, Iyad Alsaka, Shohei Shigematsu (NY), Jason Long (NY), David Gianotten, and Chris van Duijn. Over the past four decades, OMA has produced a broad portfolio of projects, employing a team of more than 200 architects, designers, and researchers with a diverse range of experience and expertise. AMO, a research and design studio, often works in parallel with OMA’s clients, enriching architecture with intelligence drawn from a wide range of other disciplines.
About the Role:
OMA’s Rotterdam office is looking for an Assistant Controller, who will work as a team member in the Finance department and report directly to Finance Director/CFO.
The Finance department is responsible for the accounting of all offices and branch offices globally. The financial project management of all OMA projects worldwide is also handled from the Rotterdam office. The working language in the Finance department is Dutch, while in the company it is English. The candidates must feel comfortable to work in an international environment.
The ideal candidate should preferably be experienced in all aspects of financial accounting. OMA is currently in the transformation process to a new ERP software, which also implies the reassessment of the current processes and reports within the company.
Considering this, candidates that have an affinity with or knowledge of such a transformation, as well as ERP software in general, are welcomed to apply.
