Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate within a multifunctional team.
• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain Data Pipelines & Machine Learning solutions.
• Engage in Data Engineering tasks including managing data lineage, performing ELT/ETL processes, data cleaning, data validation, data wrangling, applying imputation methods, and optimizing SQL queries.
• Improve Alerting and Monitoring, integrating it into the daily work process.
• Automate processes such that your team remains focused on development.
• Coaching junior colleagues and improving the general knowledge/skillset within the team.

Job requirements:

• 2+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile environments and a strong understanding of DevOps principles.
• Effective Communicator: Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and actively share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Data Engineering skills: data pipelines, data lineage, ELT/ETL, DBT, data cleaning, data validation, data wrangling, imputation methods, optimizing SQL queries.
• Experience with engineering and deploying containerized applications in the cloud, preferable AWS.
• Programming languages: Python, Python packages: PySpark, Pandas, SQLAlchemy.
• Containerization: Docker or Podman.
• Strong Software Engineering skills, in-depth knowledge of software engineering principles.
• Knowledge and experience in the energy sector is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Machine Learning models is a plus.

Within a team of Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists, you will outline the approach to develop an optimal solution to make predictions several times a day for hundreds of points in our grid load, with the aim of planning maintenance and managing grid congestion. Additionally, you will work on different use cases, leveraging the same predictive modeling techniques to address other operational challenges and improve overall grid efficiency.

You will collaborate with three other Data Science teams and various other teams within the IT landscape of Enexis in an Agile and dynamic working environment to make the necessary data available and usable for highly pressing business issues.
