Trainee communications

As a communications trainee at The Terrace, you will support developing communications strategies and campaigns for our clients as well as working on the marketing & communication of The Terrace.

The Terrace wants to inspire companies and consumers to make better, more sustainable choices. We are a strategy agency that helps organisations live up to their sustainability potential. We support our clients (non- and for-profit) with services ranging from sustainability strategy to implementation and from stakeholder engagement to reporting & communications for positive change.

Your tasks

As a trainee, you will support our communications team with:

• the development of communication strategies for clients.
• the execution of communications means for clients.
• our own marketing & communications by developing content for our social media, newsletter, and website.

Your qualifications

• You just finished your studies (Master's degree) or are in the last phase of your studies in the field of (digital) marketing/communications/journalism/advertising.
• You are fluent in Dutch (native writing and speaking level) and English.
• Proven interest in and passion for sustainability/ESG.
• You love to write and can spot a spelling mistake from afar. ;)
• You have knowledge and a passion for social media and digital marketing.
• Knowledge of tools like WordPress, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Canva, InDesign, and Photoshop come in handy.
• You have a proactive mentality and are not afraid to speak your mind and share your ideas to most effectively support our clients.
• You like to work on different projects simultaneously and can easily switch between them.
