Internship: Global Cycles & Procurement - Ingredients

Join the Global Cycles & Procurement Ingredients team, supporting senior buyers in daily operations starting April 2025 in our Hoofddorp NL office! This is a great opportunity to be part of the Specialized Ingredients Team, a key procurement category at Danone covering Essential Dairy Products (EDP), Specialized Nutrition & Waters (SN & Waters), and to work in a multicultural environment to implement sourcing strategies. In this role, you will be reporting to Pauline Marcelli (Global Senior Buyer - Flavours, Colours & Botanicals). You will have real responsibilities and space to make an impact to deliver against Danone's mission: 'Bringing health through food to as many people as possible'.

Your main tasks will be:

• Support category buyers of flavors & colors, vitamins, premixes, minerals, amino acids, toppers & toppings.
• Lead productivity projects to achieve cost savings.
• Assist category buyers in developing procurement strategies.
• Leverage our supplier ecosystem to meet Danone's climate and nature targets.
• Gather and analyze spend data for financial budgeting.
• Track and communicate results to stakeholders, including Global & Regional procurement, operations, quality, R&D, and senior management

About you

As a Global Cycles & Procurement intern, data analysis will be second nature to you. You can transform data into actionable insights using Excel and PowerBi and have strong communication skills, which will help you engage with multiple stakeholders. On top of that? You’re motivated, proactive, autonomous and self-starter, who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Master’s student in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• Ideally available to start in April 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from Hoofddorp, at least 3 times per week;
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
