The Process Owner Check-out & payment is internationally responsible for all the processes related to customer check-out & payment and cash management. In this role you report directly to the manager Store Process Improvement and your focus lies on:
The role is also acting as the linking pin between the country teams and the central departments ensuring a smooth day-to-day store operation while achieving Store Operations KPIs.
There is a lot to be done and this is a great position to show what you can do: take the opportunity to think strategically, bring ideas to life, influence the way of working globally and create the roadmap for Actions’ ever-growing range of stores and countries.
Our Store Process Improvement department is part of the Store Operations team, and responsible for the operating model of all Action stores across Europe. Action’s ambitious growth plan provides great opportunities on re-imagining how our stores operate, and developing a roadmap to further digitize store processes. The department is currently comprised of 4 sub-teams, focusing on technology-driven improvements as well as smooth daily store operation.
These teams are collaborating closely with other departments (e.g. Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, HR) as well as the country teams in order to achieve its targets.

As a Process Owner you have a no-nonsense mentality, you are pragmatic, optimistic and result-driven. You are used to comprehend and assess complex processes and workflows to identify improvement areas. Besides, you have strong communication skills across all levels. You see yourself as a self-starter with an autonomous way of working. Meanwhile, you are always customer orientated and able to handle cultural differences.
