Your role

As a Survey Engineer, you will work on board one of our vessels operating worldwide, reporting to the Chief engineer and Party Chief. You will be working with advanced survey systems that contribute to the success of our offshore projects. This includes:

  • Performing installations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of surface and subsea positioning systems.
  • Preparing, installing, and configuring project-specific survey equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborating with the survey team on hydrographic and construction support activities.
  • Managing IT networking configurations for the survey systems in cooperation with our IT department.

What we expect from you

To excel in this role, you recognize yourself in most of the following requirements:

Technical Competences

  • HND level in electronics or electrical engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in hydrographic survey and positioning.
  • Decent knowledge of survey hardware, software, and methodologies, including surface and subsea positioning systems.
  • Familiarity with ROV survey operations and offshore construction works.
  • Understanding of basic IT networking principles.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Soft Skills

  • Methodical and systematic approach to work, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in challenging offshore environments.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving excellence.
  • Strong technical and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
