The R&D Science & Technology team is looking for an experienced Process Technologist Energy and Heat recovery who can guide FrieslandCampina on our way to climate neutral.

What we ask

• Academic/Master degree in process technology, chemical engineering or related field
• >10 years experience in (dairy) processing industry
• Solid understanding of heat recovery, main technologies, utilities and processes used within our production facilities
• Experience in conceptual design, process integration and overall process design
• Experience in economical process evaluations & process modelling
• Driven to take proactive ownership by analyzing and offering solutions

Vacancy description

Take the opportunity to execute conceptual design, process development, design and engineering in multidisciplinary teams with the aim of creating sustainable, robust and well controlled production processes, supporting us in our vision: sustainable processes, fit for the future.

• Seek and identify optimal solutions to reduce our carbon footprint.
• Develop conceptual process design in close co-operation with Global SC Technology team.
• State of the art process selection and introducing process technological innovations to make our products and processes better, smarter and more sustainable.
• Continuously identify and develop improvement processes by combining knowledge shared within the company, and outside expertise.

In this position, you will be working in the R&D Science & Technology team consisting of 5 expertise teams and in total ~50 technologists. They are all experts in different areas of dairy handling and processing. Also, you will be working very multidisciplinary (e.g. SC, Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Experts)
