Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Asset Based Financing team at NIBC. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. We are searching for someone who is skilled in gathering and defining both functional and non-functional requirements and who can effectively communicate them to a range of stakeholders, including the business and development team. To make it more concrete, the key responsibilities in this role are:

  • Requirements gathering and Management:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements;
  • Create detailed requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria;
  • Serve as a liaison between IT expert teams, Architecture, Vendor Management, IT Risk & Security and business units, ensuring clarity and alignment;
  • Solution Identification and Alignment:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify optimal solutions that meet business needs;
  • Conduct gap analyses to compare current processes or solutions with desired outcomes;
  • Document processes and solutioning;
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to achieve consensus among stakeholders;
  • Ensure solutions are viable, scalable, and aligned with regulatory standards;
  • Agile Collaboration and Delivery:
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives;
  • Work alongside product owner, developers and tester to deliver iterative solutions;
  • Adapt requirements and priorities based on feedback and changing business environments;
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs;
  • Communicate effectively to ensure alignment across diverse stakeholder groups;
  • Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.

Your team

You will be part of an engaged and multi-talented Asset Based Financing team (10fte) that is part of the overarching Corporate Banking IT team. The ABF team facilitates both the Operations (incl. KYC) and Asset Based Financing domain. It is in our nature to cooperate, complement and reinforce each other. The social relationships in the Asset Based Financing team are strong and there is ample room for personal development. What do you bring?

Required:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst;
  • Affinity with IT and banking systems;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate requirements and facilitate stakeholder collaboration, both in Dutch and English;
  • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in using Agile tools (e.g. JIRA);
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Desired

  • Knowledge & experience with Salesforce;
  • Knowledge & experience in the banking or financial services sector;
  • Knowledge & experience with KYC processes;
  • Familiarity with BPMN process modelling;
  • A proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing actionable solutions;
  • A high motivation to develop or maintain own domain of expertise;
  • A passion for innovation, you are always looking to deliver high-value solutions that align with our organizational goals and customer expectations.
