About the Supply Chain Management team

The Supply Chain Management team (SCM) is part of the Operations division, and, as the business is growing rapidly, the team has recently restructured. The SCM department takes care of continuous demand of purchase orders and logistics within Ampelmann Operations globally, in a cost and time efficient way. The challenge of the SCM department is to provide 100% traceability and visibility of all requirements within Ampelmann Operations B.V.

Your role as Supply Chain Administrator

As Supply Chain Administrator, you serve as the backbone and administrative link for our Operations, Production, Maintenance and Finance departments. You will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our supply chain data, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Your role not only demands thoroughness and precision but also calls for proactive problem-solving skills. Collaborating closely with Supply Chain Planners, Finance, Maintenance, Operations, and Production teams, you will be streamlining processes and offer valuable insights. The foundation of your work lies in our ERP system (Dynamics365), where you keep track of all product movements.

Moreover, you take the initiative in pointing out necessary improvements in existing processes. Being a new role within the company, you have the unique opportunity to shape its direction, revolutionizing how we manage our supply chain data.

You will be reporting to the Team Lead Supply Chain Management.

Regular activities

  • Keeping data on properties, serial numbers, and assets trees up to date.
  • Placing and confirming purchase orders (POs) with suppliers and proactively following up on missing PO confirmations.
  • Ensuring all placed POs are executed and delivered on time and to the correct location.
  • Processing product requests, validating data requirements, and assigning tasks to relevant stakeholders once requests are complete.
  • Addressing inventory issues from various internal stakeholders, correcting inventory in the ERP system and triggering automatic replacements.
  • Streamlining processes and suggesting improvements.

We ask

  • MBO+ degree and 2-3 years of relevant working experience or BSc degree (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Logistics) and 1-2 years of experience
  • Proven experience with an ERP system (preferably D365)
  • Proficiency in data entry, processing skills and in using data management tools (Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working on a tight schedule
  • Administrative background in an international setting is preferred
  • Proactiveness, willingness to help and service-oriented
  • Great communication and people skills to create continuous alignment between all stakeholders
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
