Your Job

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to enhance our financial operations. In this role, you'll play a key part in month-end and year-end closing procedures, focusing on fixed asset management. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, updating commercial and tax fixed asset registers, and supporting audits with essential documentation. You'll also prepare balance sheet reconciliations and collaborate with your team to improve accounting processes and systems. Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices while making a meaningful impact in our organization.

What you bring to the job

We are looking for a driven professional with strong analytical and organizational skills, who pays meticulous attention to detail. You possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and excel both independently and as part of a team. Your excellent communication skills enable you to convey information clearly and effectively to colleagues and stakeholders. With your collaborative spirit and organizational talents, you will contribute to a positive team dynamic and the enhancement of our financial processes.

Furthermore you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role
• Experience with accounting processes including MEC, processes manual journals, balance sheet reconciliations and reconciling large sets of data to identify anomalies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software such as SAP or Oracle
• Fluent in English
• An availability of 32-40 hours per week

For this role, we offer a fixed-term contract for one year. The possibility of extension will depend on future developments. Please note that we do not offer a relocation package for this position.
