SimCorp Business Solutions Consultant - Investment Services

We are looking for a SimCorp Business Solutions Consultant for our Business Solutions team, situated within BNP Paribas SA Amsterdam Branch.

Your New Role

The SimCorp Business Solution Consultant reports directly to the Head of Business Solutions, driving new developments within the Investment Services domain. This domain includes fund administration/accounting, data interfaces (e.g., SWIFT, data extractions), transaction and order management, collateral management, reconciliations, settlements, corporate actions, and onboardings.

The Consultant knows the entire investment process and develops sustainable solutions, implements them in a controlled manner, and ensures change within the departments. The main goal is to optimize and professionalize Securities Services Netherlands and contribute to Securities Services' overall strategy. This all-round role encompasses business consultancy, process and application specialization, and project management.

You will work closely with Securities Services employees (Client Line, Client Delivery, and Client Development) to define operating models aligning with clients’ needs and the Securities Services framework and operating model.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business solutions for clients and/or internal on product, process, and regulation
• Implementation of change through self-initiative, participation, or coordination
• Simcorp Dimension development and maintenance
• Training colleagues and sharing knowledge of experience and expertise
• Creating specifications with stakeholders, assessing impact, and advising the organization/stakeholders
• Preparing business case documentation on the cost side as requested
• Being a subject matter expert (SME) for specific products/services; assisting in client and sales presentations

Who Are You

• Master's in Economics, Finance, Econometrics, or Business Administration
• 5+ years’ experience in the financial investment management services industry, including knowledge of investment products and processes
• Proven experience with implementing SimCorp Dimension related development
• Project and change management and/or consultancy experience
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
