Role requirements

  • Age: 21-25 years old
  • Located in Delft
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a team and/or independently
  • Understanding of operations, corporate communications, finance, supply chain
  • Technical knowledge (mechanical engineering) is a bonus
  • Positivity and openness to development, motivation and desire to learn, attention, hard work, observation, stress resistance, ability to remember large amounts of information, organization and responsibility, loyalty, and long-term perspective.

Functional

  • Entering new requests into the system (from production, from sales departments)
  • Preparing RFQ (request for quote) and sending it to suppliers
  • Searching for potential suppliers
  • Organizing meetings, visits with the supplier
  • Receiving an offer from the supplier, agreeing on terms
  • Sending information to related departments (production, sales, etc.)
  • Preparing PO (purchase order) to confirm orders
  • Maintaining up-to-date data in the system (company account details, orders, payments)
  • Creating requests for payment to suppliers and drawing up a payment schedule
  • Entering order data (supplier, product, delivery date, delivery terms) into the system
  • Tracking order readiness and shipment dates
  • Sending shipment data to the logistics department to organize transportation
  • Collecting documents related to purchases/expenses (invoices, payment receipts) and preparing a report for the accounting department, sending to an accounting agency
  • Organization of warehouse, storage, courier delivery, transport company for deliveries
