TenneT, Target Grid and Maintenance. Our grid will at least double in size and incorporate a variety of techniques like HVDC onshore and an increase of cables in general. The challenges: resources will not double in size, opex for maintenance neither from an affordability perspective, the availability outage windows are yet challenging and the grid will be stressed increasingly with increased load to maximally reduce congestion. The solution is clear: data driven and risk based maintenance. Extracting data from a variety of sources as input for decision-support -or making is the only way to successfully ensure the availability of our Target Grid, with transparency on the risk implied by these decisions.
We need you as a Lead on this journey! The Maintenance Onshore NL team within the Performance Unit Asset Management is looking for an inspiring Lead. The team has solid roots inside and outside Asset Management, is undisputed and currently consists out of 4 different nationalities. Specialist knowledge varies from primary and secondary equipment to data science, all required to fulfill our destiny.
As Lead, you will manage a challenging and diverse package and lead the M-ON team of 17 strategists and, depending on variable workload, a number of project managers. Together with these colleagues your responsibility is to ensure that the network is optimally maintained and maintainable. The strategists look for innovative ways to mitigate these risks in the long term and ensure that the grid is maximally utilized. You will manage a wide variety of stakeholders which consists out of almost every other department within TenneT, but also external stakeholders like regulator ACM and the DSO's. Are you the driver behind initiatives which may incorporate e.g. AI into the field of maintenance?
