To strengthen our Vendor and License Management team we are seeking an experienced Senior Vendor Manager. You’ll work on optimizing supplier relationships and achieving cost savings, all while thriving in a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration are key. What will you do?

As a senior vendor manager, you play a critical role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring the continuity of ICT services. You ensure contracts meet the highest standards and optimize processes to deliver the best results. This includes:

  • developing and implementing sourcing and supplier strategies;
  • managing contracts and optimizing price-quality ratios;
  • monitoring supplier performance and escalating issues when necessary;
  • advising on resource pools and license management;
  • ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and internal guidelines.

You’ll join a dynamic team within the Distributed Services department. From our modern office at Schiphol, you’ll collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines and maintain regular contact with national and international suppliers. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the efficiency and innovation of KLM’s ICT services.

Your profile

You are a driven professional who thrives on collaboration and tackles complex challenges head-on. You easily switch between tasks and inspire others with your vision. Your strong communication skills enable you to negotiate effectively and build lasting relationships.

Additionally, you bring:

  • a master’s degree in ICT or business administration;
  • at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in ICT and supplier management;
  • knowledge of procurement processes, outsourcing, resource pools, and license management;
  • experience in project management and leading multidisciplinary teams;
  • excellent proficiency English, both written and spoken.
