In this role you are responsible for the coordination between sales, marketing and merchandise planning. This role focuses on supporting the development, execution and monitoring of the initiatives that drive sales performance and brand presence across key accounts and sales channels. With responsibilities ranging from sales and merchandise planning to trade marketing initiatives, this position contributes to both short-term goals and long-term strategic success for Vlisco Netherlands B.V..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales planning

  • Develop and Manage the sales plan in collaboration with the Sales Director, focusing on volume and margin mix, ensuring alignment with business goals per key account;
  • Train the team on updated processes & tools;
  • Compile and analyze sales data to track product performance;
  • Analyze and utilize data to identify supply chain or stock challenges and enable timely interventions to minimize disruptions;
  • Support sales forecasts and S&OP processes by providing essential data and insights to ensure timely and efficient supply chain alignment;
  • Develop and enhance the sales planning and monitoring structure to support Joint Business Plans with Key Accounts, improve sales forecasting, and align production and supply in collaboration with Business Controlling.

Merchandising

  • Key stakeholder for the product team, representing all Vlisco NL channels, including eCommerce;
  • Advise on product-channel strategy by recommending which products to offer through specific channels and periods, integrating this into the overall merchandising plan;
  • Improve processes and tools to enhance merchandise workflows, maintain assortment rules, and ensure accessible data analysis;
  • Manage internal orders for new and existing assortments on the online B2B portal, determining the assortment planning;
  • Share market insights and trends with the product and marketing teams for informed decision-making.

KPI measurement & reporting

  • Establish a system for tracking KPIs to monitor key account performance and the effectiveness of sales strategies;
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of sales performance data and provide regular reporting on KPI trends to inform decision-making and optimize sales operations;
  • Track stock in trade at the assortment level, ensuring that the right products are available to meet demand.

Trade marketing

  • Advise central marketing on developing, planning, and distributing point-of-sale materials and packaging that align with the brand strategy and support key accounts in driving sell-out;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute channel-specific trade marketing programs, tools, and assets that align with the brand strategy and product assortment to drive sell-out across sales channels;
  • Work with the KAM team to create and maintain a marketing calendar, integrating it into the key account plan, with a strong focus on online campaigns and digital marketing for product launches;
  • Evaluate and analyze trade marketing activities and campaigns to optimize future strategies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • More than 5 years of experience in sales planning/support;
  • Team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude who is eager to learn;
  • You are fluent in English, Proficiency in French and Dutch is an advantage;
  • Forward-thinking attitude, result oriented, people and customer focused;
  • Organized and structured;
  • You are proficient in Excel.
