JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Treasury Manager to lead the treasury operations for our newly independent ice cream business. This role is crucial in ensuring our financial stability and liquidity as we transition into a standalone entity. The Treasury Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing effective treasury strategies, managing financial risks, and optimizing cash flow to support our global operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange risks.
  • Reporting: Manage reporting of cash positions, debt payments, and quarterly treasury activities together with the Treasury Middle Office.
  • Investment Management: Oversee the investment of surplus funds, ensuring optimal returns while maintaining liquidity and risk parameters.
  • Debt Management: Oversee the company’s debt portfolio, ensuring efficient borrowing and repayment strategies.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with finance and executive teams to forecast cash needs and develop long-term financial plans.
  • Banking Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms and services.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives and ensure alignment with treasury objectives.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage advanced technology solutions to enhance treasury processes compliance, reporting, and efficiency.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACT,CFA, CTP) is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and treasury operations. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
