ABOUT THE JOB
Distributor Sales Manager focuses on establishing and managing long-term strategic partnerships with distributors. This role involves setting up minimum order quantities (MOQs) in exchange for exclusivity in specific territories and markets. The role demands a strategic approach to develop and maintain strong distributor relationships while ensuring they meet the required financial and operational standards.
Your key responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough market assessments.
- Engaging with local regulators and top asset owners to drive market adoption and sustainability.
- Selecting distributors who will act as local full-service providers.
- Travelling (inter)-nationally for meetings with potential distributors.
We are looking for
Professional qualifications and skills:
- Extensive experience in distributor sales, strategic partnership management, and market assessment.
- Background in petrochemical industry or closely related sectors.
- Strong strategic mindset with excellent negotiation skills.
- Experienced in setting up and managing long-term distributor relationships, including exclusivity agreements.
- Proven ability to engage with regulators and asset owners to drive market adoption and sustainability.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role, with a track record of successful distributor sales and strategic development.
- Capable of working independently and managing complex relationships.
- Being able to work from Qlayers HQ 3 days a week on average.
- Willing and able to travel frequently to engage with distributors and assess markets (1 week per month).
- Business development focus with the ability to think strategically and creatively and develop long-term partnerships while meeting financial and operational KPIs.

- Gross monthly salary €5000 – €6500. The exact amount depends on the seniority of the candidate.
