Internship Overview

Location: Utrecht, The Netherlands

We are looking for an intern to join our Utrecht team for 3 to 6 months. This internship is an ideal opportunity to gain experience in international Private Equity, allowing us to get to know potential future team members.

As an intern, you will support the Private Equity team with its investments across Europe, participating in the full cycle of deal making: from deal sourcing and target analysis to due diligence and portfolio management. You will receive training in essential PE and M&A technical skills, have a dedicated mentor, and collaborate closely with our investment team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the investment team in various stages of the investment process
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities
• Participate in due diligence processes
• Support in the preparation of investment factsheets, proposals, and presentations
• Collaborate with team members on deal sourcing and evaluation

Experience and Education

• Strong analytical skills and a proven track record
• Currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or pursuing/graduated a Master’s degree in business administration, economics, corporate law, medical or scientific discipline
• Previous internship experience in corporate finance, strategy consultancy, or private equity is highly valued
• Fluent in written and spoken English plus ideally one of the following languages: Dutch, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, French

General Requirements

• Proactive, self-driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to identify and seize opportunities
• Commitment to work as a member of the investment team for a minimum of three months in Utrecht

Compensation

A competitive intern compensation package including travel; options to support housing for foreign candidates.
