Cargo Ships

On the department you will join, you will work on modern Cargo Vessels of different types built at our yards in China and Vietnam. We have delivered more than 200 multipurpose cargo ships worldwide. Our proven designs have been continuously improved to maximize their fuel efficiency, payload, and functionality.

The Role: Project Manager (40 hours)

For our office in Drachten, we are looking for an enthusiastic, communicatively skilled, and experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for the progress, execution, and financial results of their projects. This includes coordinating and monitoring the progress of engineering activities, production and delivery planning for our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Organize and execute a project from design to delivery. - Prepare, monitor, and update project and detailed production planning in consultation with project coordinators and contractors to create a global project plan. - Regularly consult with the client and their employees regarding project progress. - Provide functional leadership to project team members to achieve an effective and efficient way of working in accordance with quality standards, environmental and safety regulations. - Conduct a technical, financial, and process evaluation and identify opportunities for improvement. Skills & Experience: - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Maritime Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant equivalent. - Project management and executive course. - 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in similar roles within a technical and industrial environment. - Team player, effective in planning and organizing, willing to learn new skills, and results-oriented. - Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages. - Availability of 32-40 hours per week.
