About the job

Are you eager to support Danone-Nutricia in bringing the best care to its customers through supply chain service? The Logistics team, part of the Global Distribution & Logistics department, based at our factory in Zoetermeer, is looking for a motivated and service-oriented student as our intern starting December 2024/January 2025!

You will be working in the international and intercultural logistics team of Danone’s Nutricia Global Distribution & Logistics department, particularly the Supply Chain team consisting of 6 people. These individuals are responsible for centralized warehouse and related transportation. The Nutricia Global Distribution & Logistics department is a Danone subsidiary responsible for managing the logistical activities of Finished Goods (FG) from all Nutricia Supply Points and 3rd Parties to all Nutricia Medical Country Business Units, via our centralized warehouse located in the Netherlands.

Within this internship, you will mainly be learning about/working on:

• Supporting daily ROW (Rest Of World) operations
• Supporting and driving improvement in Carrier Performance
• Organization and scheduling of Outbound Shipments & Inbound Shipments
• Requesting and managing Airfreight Quotes related to deployment demand
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders
• Create and follow up on ASN Messages (Advanced Shipping Notification)
• Update Internship Work instructions when necessary
• Assist in Invoicing Checks including follow up

About you

You have an accurate and detail-oriented mindset, through which you demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills. Furthermore, you are a great communicator, take ownership of your responsibilities, and can work autonomously. You are definitely not afraid to reach out to internal and external stakeholders. Being curious, eager to learn and proactive are characteristics that describe you. Advanced Excel skills are required.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university)
• Ideally available to start in December 2024/January 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week
• You are fluent in English - oral and written; French is considered an advantage
• You are able to work from our Zoetermeer office at least 2 times per week
• You are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and obtain a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 650 euros and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not provide relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

Please be aware that acquiring a BSN number is necessary to receive the full internship allowance.
