Then we have a fantastic opportunity for you in our team within the European Specialized Nutrition S&OP team. Join us as our Sales and Operations Planning Intern starting January 2025 at our office in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands!

We, the EU Specialized Nutrition S&OP team at Danone, are looking for our next interns to help manage our factories' finished good and semi-finished good supply outlook on a mid to long-term horizon, and ensure the execution of key projects for our network. In this exciting role, you will be at the center of our team, collaborating directly with our EU-based supply points (factories) teams to ensure a consistent network S&OP overview and the correct utilization of our supply assets. You will participate in the animation of our monthly cycle as well as diverse projects in collaboration with multiple teams. You will contribute to developing tools aiming for a more efficient usage of data and reaching their potential. Critical success factors in this role will be your ability to animate and engage a broad group of stakeholders, process data to support our decision-making process, and develop new ways of using the existing datasets and tools. This internship will introduce you to a broad overview of supply chain practices (planning and project management) within our company.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Be:

• To be the point of contact for our European factories for any questions regarding the tool used for our monthly S&OP reviews
• Collect, consolidate and ensure the accuracy of the data for both our planning cycles and projects
• Animate and engage with your stakeholders to improve data utilization and ensure the right execution of decisions
• Understand, analyze and report data, communicating it in an adequately adapted manner considering your target group
• Drive improvement projects related to the S&OP process, project management, and data processing (using PowerBI)

About you

You are the perfect fit if:

• You are a Master's student in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or any related field.
• Previous experience in Supply Chain or Project management is a plus.
• You are highly motivated, like to challenge yourself, and have an eye for detail, allowing you to complete assignments quickly and accurately.
• You have an analytical mindset, an affinity for data processing and optimization, strong Excel skills, and a great interest in efficiency and automation.
• You are proactive, have strong communication skills, and can work both independently and in a team.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university)
• Ideally available to start in January 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week
• You are fluent in English - spoken and written
• You are able to work from Hoofddorp, at least 2-3 times per week
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 650 euros per month and a home working allowance or contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
