Reporting Specialist Social Impact & Human Rights (SCE)

We are looking for a Reporting Specialist in our Social Impact & Human Rights team who is passionate about social sustainability. Your job

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with knowledge of sustainable reporting legislation, especially EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and its European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and/ or its predecessor the EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD). You understand the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and their effect on the bank and how the UNGPs are being used in reporting regulations.

You play an essential role in developing the reporting practice in the scope of social impact and human rights. You undertake and oversee the research within the different client units/departments and formulate how these can be reported strategically in line with legislations, including the yearly Integrated Annual Report. Furthermore, you will be able to think along about meaningful targets and key performance indicators for the bank’s social impact and human rights activities. You will be involved in projects related to the strategy and implementation of the CSRD in relation to human rights and social inclusion topics within the bank, like the double materiality assessment of the bank, our quarterly risk reports, or the bank’s social risk mapping. You will work closely together with and provide support to the reporting specialist in our team.

Working environment

The SCE is a department with approximately 85-90 FTEs and operates on a global level. The SCE is managed by the CSO (Chief Sustainability Officer) and is divided into sub-departments with a specialist focus (Climate, Social Impact, Circular & Biodiversity) and a broad focus (Reporting, Regulations & Stakeholder Management, ESG Data, and Business Insights). You will report to the team lead responsible for Social Impact and Human Rights. You will work in a team of 9 FTEs, which has social impact and human rights in its scope.

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who works in a structured manner and deals with challenges in a proactive and decisive manner. You are critical and have a practical mindset. You like doing comprehensive analysis and know that “the devil is in the detail”. At the same time, it is imperative that you can work as part of a team. Your role implies strong communication skills and stakeholder management and active participation in our dynamic team.

  • 2-3 years of experience in Sustainability Reporting and/or Assurance, preferably in the field of human rights and social impact.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (WO/HBO)
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or English, strong writing skills
  • Analytical, result-oriented, and structured
  • Flexible attitude with problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above on our career page is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one-twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of €1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to €3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
