As a Nuclear Graduate within the Primary Build Organisation you can expect to spend time in one of the numerous and diverse teams helping to deliver the Dreadnought Programme. In the first weeks you will be shadowing and gaining an understanding of how the team contributes to delivering one of the most complex engineering projects on the planet.
The roles are varied within the departments and will differ in each area. You will spend time in each of the areas below whilst you settle into your niche area and gain knowledge and experience as you go. The direction you take will be discussed at your regular reviews.
Within the Primary Build Organisation there are many different teams you may be involved in. You will be placed within one of these teams for a period of 3/4 months, and rotate around the various areas. Some examples are below:
As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a STEM subject is applicable.
