What you will be doing

We have opportunities in Flight, Mission, and General Systems disciplines. As a Graduate Engineer, you will bring your skills and knowledge into one of these domains, specializing or integrating across products and tools. You will have opportunities to work on different stages of a product lifecycle, taking the lead in systems integration, testing, qualification, and acceptance. As well as the technical aspects, you will also consider schedules, costs, training, through-life support, while always considering safety and environmental concerns. Under technical supervision, you will provide Systems Engineering services to Product & Training projects, bids, and improvement initiatives as directed by the Systems Engineering Discipline Lead. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the development of strategies to ensure systems satisfy customer and business needs.
  • Analyze requirements to understand the customer/business needs.
  • Design and optimize system architectures using modelling techniques.
  • Facilitate successful integration of systems and sub-systems.
  • Determine emergent properties to support trade-offs, optimization, and risk reduction.
  • Define verification and validation approaches for system acceptance.
  • Identify safety hazards and assess/mitigate safety risks.
  • Provide systems engineering support to project and functional teams.
Skills As a minimum requirement, you will need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, an Aerospace-related degree, or any STEM subject.

Upon commencement, you will receive a one-off non-consolidated lump sum payment of £2,000 (subject to deductions) with your first salary payment.
