We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to help us realize our new learning and development approach, focusing on creating effective development for all employees.

Your role in the story:

As our Learning & Development Specialist, you will create targeted and fit-for-purpose learning solutions that align with our talent management approach. You will leverage your in-depth understanding of human behavior and competency frameworks to design and implement effective programs. Your role involves developing materials to support implementation by management, employees, and HR. This opportunity is ideal for a creative, tech-savvy, and result-driven individual who can transform learning concepts into impactful initiatives. With your drive and enthusiasm, you will ensure that learning initiatives directly and positively impact organizational success and our company culture. Your primary mission is to develop and implement a fit for purpose suite of learning programs and tools that cater to diverse needs across the organization.

Key Deliverables:
  • Continuously seeking innovative, cost-effective learning solutions in line with business requirements that deliver measurable results
  • Support the implementation of the Jennings 70-20-10 learning model across the organization
  • Deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that make a real impact such as e-learnings, onboarding and in-house development programs, aligned with our talent management framework
  • Manage and organize a centralized digital intranet platform that brings together all learning initiatives, ensuring easy access and navigation for users across the organization
  • Implement various learning methods, including (peer-to-peer) coaching, mentoring, job-shadowing, and online training
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and suggest improvements
  • Assist in the development of assessment tools for employee development

You will collaborate closely with our Manager Talent and our HR Project manager L&D

Is this the job for you?

Key ingredients for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • In-depth understanding of human behavior and competency frameworks, with the ability to apply this knowledge in designing and implementing effective learning programs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in adult learning principles and methodologies such as Jennings 70-20-10 learning model
  • Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning development
  • Strong ability to build relationships and foster collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Currently residing in and eligible to work in the Netherlands
