Become a Developer in The Valley!

If you're an (experienced) Back-end Developer whose interest is piqued by the description below, we needed to meet you yesterday! Stop what you're doing, and update that resume. There's at least free coffee in it for you. ☕

In this position, you'll be developing and adapting for various online platforms and websites. Always bespoke, custom work from concept to customer journey with clearly specified requirements to make best-in-class experiences. We also frequently use Umbraco, the most widely used open-source (and user-friendly) CMS, based on the .NET Framework.

You'll join a close-knit development team while being surrounded by an extensive inter-disciplinary team of colleagues. With the right allies by your side, you'll develop thoughtful, attractive, quality solutions for clients. As a Back-end Developer, we look to you for insights on the latest developments in the field, your lateral creative thoughts, and innovative ideas.

Your days will include:

  • Developing and maintaining .NET applications and websites
  • Thinking about the most efficient solutions
  • Testing built solutions
  • Accurate and careful documentation of the work
  • Timely communication to project management & traffic
  • Monitoring information security

What will increase your chances?

If you’re positive and collegial, flexible, communicative and you can deal with deadlines.

Furthermore, important for this function is:

  • A completed HBO / WO training in a relevant direction
  • At least 5 years of work (and internship) experience in the field of .NET Framework
  • Ambition to broaden your knowledge of .NET to work with this
  • Experience with the Umbraco CMS is an advantage
  • Knowledge of and experience with SQL Server is an advantage
  • Knowledge of and experience with .NET (WebPages, MVC and WebApi) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of and experience with SOAP / Web Services and REST Services is an advantage
  • Some experience with HTML (5), CSS, Javascript is an advantage
  • Speaking Dutch is not a requirement, but living in The Netherlands is a must
