Fraud & Investigations Officer

Can you identify a fraud scheme before anybody else? Are you able to transform your hunch into a data-driven investigation? The corporate security department is responsible for keeping VodafoneZiggo safe through a range of disciplines. A team of Fraud & Investigation Specialists focuses proactively on the external and Insider Threats to VodafoneZiggo. Our aim is to protect our customers and operations from fraud and criminality by investigating those who target our company or operations and bringing the perpetrators to justice through the collection & preparation of reliable quality evidence.

What You’ll Do

As a Fraud & Investigation Specialist, you will help us identify and reduce potential security risks to make our operations, products, and services even better. Being an ambassador for VodafoneZiggo corporate security across the industry, within law enforcement, and with our internal stakeholders, you will raise awareness and help prevent fraud and other crime. You will manage a large investigative case load and produce complex investigation reports or evidence files to support the reduction of criminal threats or serious policy breaches. We are looking for a creative, out-of-the-box mentality specialist to conduct proactive investigations and analyze internal and external data to identify security risks.

• Initiate and run complex investigations
• Work together with Business Units
• Conduct interviews with suspects and witnesses
• Handle sensitive and confidential information within and across VF business units
• Drive awareness of fraud and malpractice
• Be a critical advisor to internal stakeholders to ensure our systems & processes are sufficiently robust and to reduce harm to our customers or partners

This Is What You Bring

To be successful in the role you need to be a capable investigative (fraud) specialist with a strong background in the field. Exceptionally good communication skills are critical to the role as you will need to liaise with stakeholders at all levels (up to C-level) and also conduct interviews. An important part of the responsibilities is to create detailed investigation reports and interpret data; therefore, strong analytical skills are required. Knowledge of Dutch Criminal Justice and Employment Law is highly desirable and a knowledge of and enthusiasm for intelligence-led investigations is a must.
