Your mission should you choose to accept it…

As the Paid Media Intern at The Social Hub, you are part of the digital marketing team. Let’s start first with your most important tasks: you’ll play a vital role in setting up digital marketing tactics in support of the annual digital marketing strategy. You’ll learn how to do this by working on paid and/or organic media campaign setups, optimization, CRO and experimentation. You’ll gain insights into the performance of digital marketing channels through analytics and reporting.

You will be surrounded by experts in all areas of the digital marketing world: paid media advertising, social media marketing, content and email marketing and growth marketing. We are looking for someone to join our team in Amsterdam for a period of at least 5-6 months starting in February 2025.

In case you don’t know who we are...

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You'll Do

  • Work together with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure channels are fully synched with commercial calendars
  • Collaborate closely with the media, web, CRM, and growth teams to ensure experiments & learn are developed and implemented across digital channels and campaigns
  • Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness, traffic and conversions and maximize ROI
  • Conduct competitor and keyword research to gather insights to support the development and execution of marketing plans and tactics
  • Coordinate and support with project management, including updating task list, following up with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks according to defined deadlines

Who You Are

  • A student, currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in Global Marketing & Sales, Commercial Economics or related field;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong affinity for online marketing & sales;
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Not afraid to share creative input & dare to be critical;
  • Have basic knowledge in the current global marketing trends;
  • Multi-tasker, with a can-do attitude and great initiative;
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

What We Offer

  • An amazing work environment with a fantastic vibe and lots of positive energy.
  • On the job coaching and guidance.
  • Monthly compensation for your internship.
  • The opportunity to work and learn at a dynamic, young, international organisation; we’re a real game changer in the hospitality industry.
  • A first glimpse into the world of Hospitality with one of the most innovative players in the market.
  • Access to the amazing TSH facilities, including our awesome restaurant and gym. And did we mention you also get a discount on Hotel stays and Food and Drinks?
  • A wonderful workplace to call home with, dare we say it, fun colleagues.

Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture. Your authenticity keeps our team diverse. Come as you are.

The Social Hub is much more than a hotel. In our boundary-blurring spaces we bring together a new generation of bold change-makers to connect, learn, stay, work, and play. Creating memorable experiences for our community of hotel guests, students, creatives, enterprising minds and anyone in between.
