Job Description: Project Manager

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will effectively lead, manage, and co-ordinate projects to deliver agreed business outcomes. This includes delivering business change, technology, and information systems that meet identified business requirements. You’ll help us make health happen by:
  • Overall responsibility for leading, managing, and motivating a cross-functional project team
  • Direct accountability and responsibility for delivery of allocated projects
  • Actively developing and maintaining own business and technical expertise
  • Negotiating service levels and specifications with senior customer management and suppliers
  • Contributing to, and ensuring the setup of, appropriate contracts for the supply of products and/or services
  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with suppliers (including off-shore resources)
  • Ensuring appropriate monitoring of contracts and Master Services Agreements, authorizing or initiating any actions that may be required

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience of running complex projects across several work streams
  • Running multiple projects or a large project
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills
  • Acts as an internal advocate for the project
  • Resilient and pragmatic, stays calm under pressure
  • Strong leadership and people skills and strong team player
