Senior Project Manager

Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Project & Development Services (PDS) team in London. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from start to finish, working with some of the industry’s most high-profile clients. Our PDS team is a collaborative, fast-growing department that provides a "one-stop shop" for Project Management, Cost Consultancy, Interior Design, Building Surveying, and Engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a variety of fast-track Category A and B fit-outs, overseeing all phases from initial client engagement and concept development to project completion. Manage the design, procurement, and construction phases to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, representing Cushman & Wakefield in the market. Act as the main point of contact, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and alignment with client objectives.
  • Actively contribute to business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, conducting pitches, and negotiating project terms.
  • Work closely with internal teams across Cushman & Wakefield’s service lines to provide clients with comprehensive real estate solutions. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Deliver on profitability targets by managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and ensuring efficient billing practices. Support cross-selling opportunities with other departments to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain project compliance with internal quality standards, health and safety guidelines, and relevant regulations. Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring a seamless, high-quality delivery for clients.

Key Skills and Expertise Required:

  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, particularly for occupiers and investor clients.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships at a senior level, including handling pitches and presentations.
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with MRICS or an equivalent professional qualification in fit-out project management.
  • Expertise in project management tools, including AutoCAD and MS Project.
