The project will be fully executed at the Erasmus University Medical Center (EUMC), department of Immunology, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. You will be appointed at the Immunology department.

The department of Immunology performs cutting edge basic and translational research, participates in patient care by performing laboratory diagnostics (Laboratory for Medical Immunology) and supporting Clinical Immunology, and performs a wide range of educational activities. Major research focuses in the department span molecular to clinical immunology and includes the development and function of innate and adaptive immunity, autoimmunity, immune deficiencies, immunity to infection, neuroimmunology, and lymphoid malignancies. The department has state-of-the-art facilities and equipment that support basic and translational research. The department is involved in multiple International Consortia and networks, which facilitate innovation and rapid implementation of new immunological concepts and technologies.
Candidates with a strong background and hands-on experience in molecular and cell biology, cell culture, in vitro screenings and reporter models will be considered. Candidates are expected to collaborate closely with a postdoc and technicians on the project and scientists at the Erasmus MC, be highly motivated and have a team spirit.
