Internship: Optimization of Supplier assignment process in the Purchasing System

For our NPR Purchasing department, we are looking for an intern who will improve and structure the current procedure of assigning suppliers to Commodity Manager codes.

As an intern, you will be responsible for the optimization of the current supplier assignment to commodity manager codes in our main System.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Match creditor numbers to supplier numbers in an online system;
• Match supplier numbers to Commodity Manager codes in excel;
• Remove or close inactive supplier numbers;
• Create a procedure for future supplier assignment to Commodity Manager codes;
• Create Standard Operating Procedure for future cases and maintenance;
• Investigate automation of process.

Jouw profiel

We are looking for an enthusiastic HBO student who is pursuing a degree in IT or Computer Science, or similar. The number of internship days is negotiable.

• You are enrolled in an HBO program in the field of IT;
• You are familiar with Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar;
• You have the ability to deliver your work with accuracy;
• You have English Proficiency;
• Preferably not combined with a graduation project.

Afdeling

The assignment will take place within the Non Product Related Purchasing team, part of PACCAR Purchasing Europe located in Eindhoven. The purchasing department is an international, challenging, and inspiring environment that is responsible for the end-to-end procurement of all Goods and Services that are not related to the manufacturing of the trucks.

The team consists of 19 people, each responsible for specific commodity.
