As a Services Engineer Networking, you are responsible for regular management activities, getting involved in and/or executing changes, and release management. Together with colleagues in the hybrid customer team, you devise solutions and coordinate with technology suppliers if necessary. You work closely with the engineers of the Business Unit Services, who are responsible for daily management, including incidents and monitoring.
Together with the Services Consultant (one of the Customer Team members), you set today's agenda: some days are more solution-oriented, and on other days, the emphasis is on analyzing reports and advising the Service Manager and the customer organization. You collaborate with the project organization and the services organization.
You play a key role in taking over the management of (parts of) our customers' infrastructures. This allows you to acquire the desired customer knowledge in addition to technical knowledge. You are willing to think about automation and how it helps us simplify daily management tasks, reduce errors, and add value to our services. Staying current in your field is achieved, among other things, through your involvement in projects. Because we aim to be and remain innovative, there is, of course, time to attend relevant sessions from various vendors or follow courses. You are known for your involvement and enthusiasm, as well as your knowledge of complex network environments.
