About the job

During this training program for juniors, you will be part of our European team, which aims to make the renewable energy market transparent and liquid in order to meet the requirements of various market players. You will be assisting the different trading desks in accelerating business all while developing and providing in-depth product knowledge.

Main responsibilities

• Actively approach potential clients making cold calls to build your own portfolio;
• Be in charge of your own portfolio with a profit (Profit and Loss) target to achieve;
• Matching buyers with sellers and ultimately closing deals;
• Be an expert in timing the market to achieve the best results;
• Act as a single point of contact for your customer portfolio, as much as for your teammates;
• Propose new deal structures complying with the market’s requirements;
• Identify new leads in the fastest-growing commodity sector.

About you

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• A strong financial background with a keen interest in markets and commodities.
• Native-level proficiency in Spanish and/or Catalan along with fluency in English, is essential.
• Proven experience in a client-facing role such as a broker or sales trader is highly desirable.
• Experience with cold calling and prospecting is also advantageous.
• A commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, with a strong competitive drive and determination to succeed.
• A results-driven attitude with high resilience and ambition.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Motivated by bonus and ambitious, with a strong desire to excel in both your career and personal life.
• You are willing to relocate to Amsterdam, the Netherlands;
• You are available for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
