Our Team and Mission

This position is based at the European Space Security and Education Centre (ESEC - Galaxia) in Transinne, Belgium.

The ESA Academy, a part of the ESA Education Office, is the agency’s overarching programme for university student space projects and training opportunities.   • A PROJECTS programme, allowing teams to design, build, test, and operate small satellites and payload experiments on space-related platforms, such as through the ESA Academy Experiments programme;
  • An ENGAGEMENT pillar, providing students and young professionals with scholarship, conference, and networking opportunities.

'Fly Your Satellite!' is a programme within the Projects pillar which supports educational satellite teams developing CubeSats and other small satellites, with the design, test, launch, and operations of their satellite missions.

The CubeSat Support Facility (CSF) is a teaching, training, and testing facility for educational CubeSats and other space hardware.
