The EPTD department plans the sustainable product and technology roadmap for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric bus series which fulfill current and future European public transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the EPTD department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.

The EPTD team is looking for an electrical test engineer to develop test structures and ensure efficiency and quality of the electrical systems in our electric trucks and buses.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage demo test vehicles and be responsible for contacting relevant testing departments.
  • Joint testing with the truck body manufacturer to ensure the vehicle is running smoothly and any issues that arise during testing are documented and corrected.
  • Lead the technical support of the vehicle during the body modification process, support software updates, functional inspections, and find solutions to problems.
  • Lead the test planning and implementation of test vehicles, and provide guidance and acceptance of the work of third-party testing agencies.
  • Responsible for technical support for customer trial operations, complete operational data collection and analysis, and assist in completing customer research work.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor/HBO degree in related field like Electrical Engineering or Vehicle Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in vehicle testing, vehicle design, or vehicle electronic equipment development and testing.
  • Have in-depth understanding of truck structural principles, motor control, and European vehicle testing standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a systematic and analytical mindset.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with strong organization and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for testing and technical support.
  • EU Driver’s license.
