Purpose of the Role
To source, attract, recruit, and develop talented individuals in support of talent retention across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the current suite of Talent assessments and periodically undertake research on Talent assessment providers and offerings with a focus on AI-driven assessments.
- Manage vendor relationships by leading partnerships with key third-party providers to manage service provision, co-create Barclays content, and deliver strategic projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to understand their current and future assessment needs at hiring and for ongoing colleague development, working with third-party providers and internal stakeholders such as HR, legal, and data privacy.
- Develop and implement recruitment and development strategies that align with the bank’s business goals, focusing on talent attraction and development.
- Conduct workforce planning, forecasting, and talent needs assessment to anticipate hiring and training needs.
- Create compelling job content and training material to engage and retain top talent.
- Administer onboarding processes for new hires to facilitate a smooth transition into the organization.
- Monitor and report on key recruitment and development metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with business leaders, talent sourcing and development firms, and professional organizations to develop a strong talent pipeline.
