Android Developer for the ‘Onderweg’ App

As an Android developer at ANWB, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and improving the ‘Onderweg’ app and maintaining our various other apps. We are committed to integrating the latest technology to offer the highest quality and reliability to millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and enhancing features for the ‘Onderweg’ app.
  • Maintaining various other ANWB apps.
  • Adding features to turn-by-turn navigation and support for Android Auto.
  • Troubleshooting high-priority production issues when necessary.
  • Fine-tuning roadmap features with your team.
  • Conducting research to find the best technological solutions.

Your daily tasks will be diverse and fast-paced, primarily involving writing code to deliver planned features. Occasionally, you may need to quickly shift focus to address high-priority tasks.

Technologies We Use

  • Kotlin for app development.
  • MVVM architecture and Jetpack Architecture Components.
  • Asynchronous code with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
  • UI development using Jetpack Compose.
