The Internship

HEINEKEN is on a journey to become the best-connected brewery in the world. To achieve this, we must also focus on connecting with our employees to succeed in our markets. We've made significant strides by successfully implementing SAP SuccessFactors in all our Operating Companies worldwide, creating a unified way of working for all administrative People processes globally. However, the People function is constantly evolving, and we continue to introduce new features and updates to SAP SuccessFactors, as well as other technologies, across our Operating Companies. We maintain close relationships with our Operating Companies in more than 65 countries and actively engage with them on a regular basis. The core purpose of the Global HR Solutions & Support team is to provide solutions and ongoing support for these new ways of working.

Your Responsibilities

During this internship, you will:

  • Assist in gathering and specifying business requirements for our MyHR ecosystem, collaborating closely with stakeholders across our team and global Operating Companies to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Gain hands-on experience and deepen your understanding of our MyHR ecosystem, including SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and PeopleDoc, by actively participating in system processes and support activities.
  • Take on tasks that cover various areas the team is involved in, exposing you to a broad range of functions and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with both functional and technical colleagues, participating in testing cycles.
  • Analyze support tickets resolved by our nearshore technical team, ensuring resolution and response times meet Service Level Agreements (SLA); identify trends and take proactive measures.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course, always with the guidance that is right for you.

The Department

The Global HR Solutions & Support team works closely with colleagues from People teams around the world, as well as project-focused teams that implement new technologies. You will collaborate with these colleagues daily. We also interact with different People disciplines in Amsterdam, such as Global Talent Acquisition and the Global Talent team. Our team values socializing and enjoys a good beer at the end of the week! There will be plenty of team moments to look forward to.

The Terms of Employment

  • Your starting date is 1 February 2025.
  • The internship is full-time.
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor).
  • It is a practice-oriented internship.
  • You will be based in the heart of Amsterdam.
  • During your internship, you have the flexibility to work from home but no more than 2 days a week.
  • You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week.
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month.
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.

The Unique You!

  • HBO or WO education
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain both attention to detail and an overview of the bigger picture.
  • Ability to manage your own workload, tasks, and scope with a pragmatic, "get-it-done" attitude; a self-starter.
  • Interest in (HR) Tech and strong analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated with a keen interest in developing a deep understanding of our global HR tech landscape.

We believe that everyone has unique talents and are therefore looking for you!
