Join Our Maritime Team at Royal HaskoningDHV

Within the Maritime team at Royal HaskoningDHV, we provide design and consultancy services to the marina and waterfront business. Our core services include marina master planning, concept design, feasibility studies, marina operations consultancy, and superyacht consultancy.

Our projects span the globe, from Australia to the Netherlands, and from the Middle East to Africa. The diverse environments, yachting ecosystems, and clients make our work fascinating and dynamic.

To support our services, we need a deep understanding of the existing marina business worldwide. Therefore, we have opened a position to set benchmarks for exemplary marina infrastructure and operations globally.

What You Do as a Marina Benchmarking Intern

The objective of this role is to join the NL Marinas & Waterfronts team and gather information on international benchmark marinas. You'll develop a database with information crucial for our consultancy services.

You may also have the chance to apply this database to real projects during your internship, becoming an integral part of the project team.

Where You Will Work

Royal HaskoningDHV is an independent engineering, project management, and consultancy firm with 140 years of engineering expertise, combined with digital technologies and software solutions. Our 6,000 colleagues work from offices in over 25 countries worldwide. Guided by our mission "enhancing society together," we strive to have a positive impact on the world.

You will join the Advisory Group Resilience & Maritime Netherlands, which consists of approximately 230 colleagues distributed across offices in Rotterdam, Amersfoort, and Nijmegen. This team excels in climate resilience and maritime development services.

We serve both private and (semi)governmental clients throughout all project phases, from inception to master planning, feasibility, design, and construction supervision, operating not only in the Netherlands but globally.

What You Bring

The Marina Benchmarking Internship is ideal for you if you have the following:

  • You are currently a student in Civil Engineering or a similar field.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are available full-time.
  • You have an interest in marinas and/or yachting.
  • You possess a proactive and autonomous attitude.
  • You are eager to participate in our marina and waterfronts projects.

What We Offer

During your internship at Royal HaskoningDHV, you'll experience working in a consultancy firm alongside participating in projects managed by the advisory group Resilience & Maritime NL. You will be a full team member, invited to engage in all team activities, both project-related and social. Additionally, you will receive a monthly allowance.

Are You Our New Colleague?

We would like to meet you! Apply by uploading your resume and motivation letter. After receiving your application, we will contact you promptly. The application process involves 1-2 interviews. If all goes well, you will receive an offer, and we will be excited to welcome you aboard! For more information, you can contact Eva Sciarone, recruiter, via eva.sciarone@rhdhv.com.
